The Spire Single Wall Light brings a soft, considered glow to a room without shouting for attention. It pairs a curved brass arm with a cylindrical fabric shade, giving it the look of a traditional picture light while working just as well as a general wall light. It sits close to the wall, so it suits hallways and landing spaces as easily as it suits a living room or bedroom wall.

This version combines a white finish with warm brass detailing along the curved arm, a pairing that feels classic rather than trend led. The shade itself is a natural cylindrical fabric shade, which softens the light rather than casting a hard beam, and the body is built from steel with acrylic detailing for durability. Because these finishes are applied and assembled by hand, expect the very slight natural variation you'd get with any handmade piece rather than a machine perfect uniform look.

How this wall light works

It takes a single 7W LED bulb with a B22 fitting, and the bulb itself is not supplied, so you'll need to add one before it can be used. It's dimmable, but only if you fit dimmable bulbs and pair the light with a compatible dimmer switch. As with any mains wired fitting, we'd recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician to make sure it's wired in safely.

Where this wall light works best

With its softer, more ambient throw of light, this is a good fit for living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways, anywhere you want a warm accent of light rather than full room illumination. It works well as a pair either side of a bed, sofa or fireplace, or spaced along a hallway wall.
