Utopia Sphere Single Pendant - Antique Brass

The antique brass finish

This version pairs steel and glass finished in antique brass. The brass gives the fitting a warm, slightly aged look rather than a polished, mirror like shine, and because it's finished by hand you can expect gentle variation from one fitting to the next, which is part of the appeal rather than a flaw. It sits well against darker paint colours, warm wood tones, or brass hardware elsewhere in the room, but is muted enough not to fight with cooler schemes either.

How this pendant light works

The fitting takes a single 10W LED bulb with an E27 fitting, and the bulb itself is not supplied, so you'll need to add your own on installation. It's dimmable, but only if you fit dimmable bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch, so check compatibility before you buy your bulb. The drop is adjustable between roughly 76cm and 86cm, which gives you some flexibility over how low it hangs, whether that's close over a dining table or higher in a hallway. As this is a mains wired fitting, we'd always recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician. At around 2.1kg, it's also worth checking that your ceiling fixing point can comfortably take the weight before you hang it.
