Utopia Sphere 6 Light Semi Flush Fitting - Antique Brass - 86cm Diameter

The Utopia Sphere semi flush fitting brings a mid century inspired shape to a ceiling light that still sits neatly close to the ceiling when you need it to. Six lights are arranged around a curved frame measuring 86cm across, and the fitting hangs on an adjustable drop of between 100cm and 127cm, so it can be set to suit rooms with lower or higher ceilings.

The antique brass finish

This version is finished in antique brass across its steel frame, paired with glass detailing. The warm, aged brass tone gives the piece a slightly vintage character that works well against both light and darker wall colours, and suits homes that mix old and new furniture without feeling tied to one particular era.

How this ceiling light works

The fitting takes 6 x 7W LED bulbs with an E14 fitting, and bulbs are not supplied, so you will need to add your own to suit the brightness and colour temperature you prefer. It works with dimmer switches too, provided you fit dimmable bulbs. As with any mains wired light, we recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician. Because the fitting weighs around 4kg, it is also worth checking that your ceiling fixing point is able to take that weight before installation.

Where it works best

As a semi flush fitting with six lights, this piece is suited to rooms where you want a stronger, more even spread of light without a fitting that hangs too low, think living rooms, kitchens, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways. It works well as a central room light or as a statement piece over a kitchen island or dining table.
