The base is glass finished with a speckled, mottled effect in cobalt blue, so no two lamps will look quite identical, expect small variations in the pattern from one to the next. This sits on brass toned metalwork with a matt, slightly antiqued look, which is echoed in the gold satin shade above. Together they give a lamp that reads as jewel toned and a little characterful rather than plain.

How the table lamp works

It takes a single 10W LED bulb with an E27 fitting, and the bulb itself is not supplied, so you'll want to have one ready before it arrives. The lamp is not dimmable, so it's a straightforward on and off light rather than one for mood lighting adjustments. As a plug in table lamp there's no wiring or assembly to speak of, just position it, fit a bulb and plug it in.
