A Brushed Brass and White Marble Finish

This version pairs a steel stem finished in a brushed, aged brass tone with a base cut from white marble. Both the metal finishing and the marble are worked by hand, so expect some gentle variation in veining and patina from one lamp to the next. That variation is part of the material, not a flaw, and it's what gives a marble and brass table lamp its slightly one off character.

How the Parasol Table Lamp Works

It takes a single E14 LED golf bulb, which is not supplied, so it's worth having one ready before the lamp arrives. The fitting isn't dimmable, so it runs at one fixed brightness once switched on. As a plug in table lamp there's no wiring to arrange, simply fit a bulb, position it where you'd like, and plug into a nearby socket. It carries an IP20 rating, which means it's designed for dry indoor rooms only, so keep it away from bathrooms or anywhere it might pick up damp or splashes.

Where It Works Best

At roughly 47cm tall with a 28cm diameter base, it's a comfortable size for a bedside table in the bedroom, an occasional table in the living room, a console in the hallway, or a sideboard in the dining room. Anywhere that calls for one soft, well placed pool of light rather than a main source of illumination is where this lamp does its best work.
