The Parasol Single Floor Lamp is a tall, freestanding piece built around a single lamp head, a slender steel body and a weighted marble base. This version pairs a brushed, aged brass finish on the steel frame with a white marble base. Aged brass finishes like this naturally carry soft variations in tone across the surface, so don't expect two lamps to look perfectly identical, that's part of the character rather than a flaw. The white marble base grounds the design underfoot and sits comfortably alongside warm wood furniture, textured linens or a simpler, more neutral scheme.

How this floor lamp works

It takes a single E27 LED GLS bulb, which is not supplied, so you can pick the warmth and brightness that suits the room. This fitting is not dimmable, so it's best wired to a standard on and off circuit rather than a dimming setup. Assembly is straightforward, with the marble base, steel pole and lamp head fitting together by hand, and as a floor standing lamp it simply plugs into an existing wall socket rather than needing any hardwiring.

Where it works best

Standing at a height of 144.5cm on a 40cm diameter base, it suits rooms with a little floor space to spare, living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways among them. It works well beside a sofa or reading chair, filling a bare corner, or standing next to a console table where its height can do some of the visual work.
