Utopia Overlay 2 Light Wall Light Twin Pack - Antique Silver Leaf

This twin pack brings you two matching Utopia Overlay wall lights, each holding two lamps behind a softly aged silver leaf finish. The layered, overlapping arms are what give the design its name, casting a gentle wash of light up and down the wall rather than a single hard beam, which makes it an easy way to add a bit of warmth and depth to a room without a lot of fuss.

The antique silver leaf finish

Each fixture is made from steel and finished by hand in an antique silver leaf, so expect gentle variation from piece to piece rather than a flat, uniform sheen. That slightly weathered look sits comfortably alongside both traditional and more pared back modern interiors, and pairs well with warm metallics, aged mirrors or muted wall colours if you want the fitting itself to stand out a little.

How this wall light works

Each wall light in the pack takes 2 x 3W G9 LED bulbs, which are not included, so you'll need to pick these up separately before fitting. The fixtures are wired to Class I electrical standard, and if you fit dimmable G9 bulbs the light can be dimmed to suit the mood of the room. As with any mains wired fitting, installation should be carried out by a registered NICEIC electrician. Each light measures 45cm in height, 20cm in width and projects 9.6cm from the wall, so it's worth checking this against your wall space before ordering.

Where this wall light works best

With an IP20 rating, this pack is intended for dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms or anywhere with direct exposure to moisture. It works well in hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and dining rooms, whether that's flanking a mirror, either side of a bed, or spaced along a landing to lead the eye down a corridor.
