The Matrix Round is a semi flush ceiling light built around a circular steel frame, holding six glass shades in a clean, evenly spaced arrangement. It sits close to the ceiling rather than hanging low, which makes it a good option for rooms where you want a strong lighting feature but don't have the drop height for a full pendant.
Satin brass finish with glass shades
This version is finished in a satin brass tone across the steel frame, paired with glass shades for the light source. The metal and glass combination gives the fitting some visual weight without feeling heavy in a room, and the satin finish is soft rather than high shine, so it sits comfortably alongside both warm and cooler colour schemes.
How this ceiling light works
The fitting takes six G9 LED bulbs, each rated at 3W, and bulbs are not supplied so you can choose the colour temperature and brightness that suits the room. It's dimmable, provided you fit dimmable G9 bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch. Electrically it's Class II, meaning it doesn't require an earth connection. As with any hard wired ceiling fitting, we'd always recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician. At 2.3kg it isn't especially heavy, but it's still worth checking that your ceiling fixing point can comfortably support the weight before installation.
Where it works best
Because it's rated IP20, this light is designed for dry indoor rooms only rather than bathrooms or anywhere with direct exposure to moisture. It suits living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways particularly well, anywhere you want an even spread of light from a fitting that stays close to the ceiling.
