Utopia Matrix 2 Light Wall Light - Satin Brass

The Utopia Matrix is a two light wall light with a clean, sculptural shape, built from straight lined arms and glass shades that keep the look modern and pared back rather than ornate.

The satin brass finish

This version comes in a satin brass finish over a body made from steel and glass. It has a warm, muted look rather than a high shine, so it sits comfortably against light or dark walls, and pairs easily with wood tones, black metalwork or other brass fittings already in the room.

How this two light wall light works

Each arm takes a G9 LED bulb rated at 3W, two in total, and bulbs are not included so you can choose the brightness and colour temperature you prefer. It can be dimmed if you fit dimmable bulbs. The fitting measures 41.5cm in height and 9cm in width, projecting 11.3cm from the wall face, so it stays fairly slimline once mounted. It carries an IP20 rating, which means it's designed for dry indoor rooms rather than spaces that see steam or water splashes, and it comes with a 2 year warranty. As it's mains wired, we'd recommend having it fitted by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Where it works best

Given its IP20 rating, this wall light suits dry, indoor rooms such as the living room, bedroom, hallway, kitchen or dining room. It works well as a single fitting beside a mirror or doorway, or as a pair either side of a bed, sofa or fireplace, where the vertical lines tend to suit that kind of symmetry.
