This is a three light semi flush fitting, designed to sit close to the ceiling while still bringing some presence to a room. It pairs an antique brass frame with clear cut glass detailing, so it catches the light rather than just holding a bulb. It's a fitting that works well where you want a bit of traditional character overhead without the drop of a full pendant.

The antique brass and clear cut glass finish

The frame is finished in antique brass, a warm, slightly aged tone rather than a bright polished metal, and it's built from steel paired with glass. The clear cut glass elements are faceted to catch and scatter light, adding a bit of sparkle rather than a flat glow. As with any hand finished metalwork, expect a little gentle variation from piece to piece. It suits rooms with a more classic or traditional feel, and works nicely alongside other brass or warm metal fittings and furniture.

How this ceiling light works

It takes three 6W LED bulbs with an E14 fitting; bulbs are not supplied, so you'll need to add your own. It's compatible with dimmer switches if you fit dimmable bulbs. Electrically it's rated Class I, meaning it requires an earth connection as part of the wiring. Because this is a mains wired fitting, we'd always recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician. At around 4.2kg, it's also worth checking that your ceiling fixing point can comfortably take the weight before installing.

Where this light works best

Being a semi flush fitting, it's a good option for rooms where you want central lighting without a fitting that hangs too low, think living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways. It reads as a decorative centrepiece as much as a practical light source.
