Utopia Martini 2 Light Wall Light - Bright Nickel & Clear Cut Glass

The Martini 2 Light Wall Light pairs two cut glass shades on a single wall mounted fitting, giving you a soft double glow from one neat fixing point. It sits comfortably in both contemporary and more traditional rooms, and works well as a single fitting or in a matching pair either side of a mirror, doorway or fireplace.

Bright nickel and clear cut glass

This version is finished in bright nickel, a cool, reflective metal tone that catches the light along the arm and base of the fitting. The two shades are made from clear cut glass, faceted so they pick up sparkle from the bulbs rather than sitting flat and plain. As with any hand finished metal and cut glass piece, expect a little natural variation from one fitting to the next, which is part of the charm rather than a flaw.

How this wall light works

Each shade takes a 6W LED E14 bulb, two in total, and bulbs are not supplied so you can choose the tone and brightness you prefer. The fitting is dimmable, provided you fit dimmable bulbs and pair it with a compatible dimmer switch. It's wired to Class I electrical standards, meaning it requires an earth connection, so it should always be installed by a registered NICEIC electrician rather than fitted as a DIY job.

Where it works best

Being a wall mounted fitting rather than a ceiling one, the Martini suits rooms where you want gentle, directional light rather than a single central source. Think living rooms either side of a chimney breast, bedrooms flanking a bed, dining rooms for a softer ambience alongside a pendant, or hallways where a run of matching wall lights adds a sense of arrival.
