The Utopia Interlink Pendant is a five light ceiling fitting with a steel frame finished in antique gold, paired with teal shades that bring a warm metallic tone and a cooler blue green colour together in one piece. It works well as a single statement light above a table or island, rather than something that fades into the background.

The frame is steel, finished in antique gold, while the shades sit in teal, a tone that reads somewhere between blue and green depending on the light around it. Together they give the pendant a bit more personality than a plain metal fitting, and the gold tone tends to pair naturally with warm woods, brass hardware and richer colour schemes nearby.

How this pendant light works

It takes five E27 bulbs, each rated up to 10W, and the bulbs are not supplied, so you can choose the finish and brightness that suits the room. It is dimmable, but only if you fit dimmable bulbs along with a compatible dimmer switch. The drop is adjustable from around 65cm up to 204cm, giving some flexibility for room height and how low you want it to hang, and the fitting itself has a diameter of 70cm. As with any mains wired light, installation should be carried out by a registered NICEIC electrician.

With an IP20 rating, this pendant is designed for dry indoor rooms rather than areas prone to damp or steam. It suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways, and its five light spread also makes it a good option for hanging over a kitchen island, where a stronger pool of light with some visual interest overhead is welcome.
