Utopia Interlink 3 Light Pendant - Antique Gold With Teal Shade - 60cm Diameter

Three interlinking arms curve outward from a central point on this pendant, each one finished in antique gold and carrying its own teal shade. Hung together, they read less like a single light fitting and more like a small piece of sculpture suspended over a table, with the metal catching the light between the coloured shades.

The antique gold and teal shade finish

The frame itself is steel, given an antique gold finish by hand, so you can expect a little natural variation in tone from one piece to the next rather than a perfectly flat coat. Against that warm gold, the teal shades add a cooler, jewel like note, which tends to work nicely with dark walls, wood furniture, or other brass and gold pieces already in a room.

How this pendant light works

The three arms each hold an E27 bulb, and the fitting is designed around 10W LED lamps, though bulbs aren't included, so you'll need to pick up your own before it can be used. It can be dimmed, but only if you fit dimmable bulbs and use it with a compatible dimmer switch, standard bulbs won't dim on their own. The drop is adjustable too, running from around 60cm at its shortest up to 198cm, which gives enough range to hang it low over a table or further up in a room with taller ceilings. Because this is a mains wired fitting, it should be installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Where this pendant works best

Its 60cm diameter and layered shades give it enough presence to work as a centrepiece over a dining table or kitchen island, and it also suits living rooms, bedrooms and hallways where you want a bit of sculptural interest overhead. It carries an IP20 rating, meaning it's built for dry indoor rooms and isn't intended for bathrooms or anywhere damp.
