The frame is steel finished in a matt gold, paired with a fabric fringe shade in white. The fabric is finished by hand, so expect gentle variation in how the fringe falls from one pendant to the next, which is part of its character rather than a flaw. Together the warm metal and soft white fringing sit well against both light and dark wall colours, and pair easily with brass or timber furniture nearby.

How this pendant light works

It takes three E27 bulbs, each rated up to 10W LED, and bulbs are not included so you can choose the colour temperature and brightness that suit the room. The fitting is dimmable when used with dimmable LED bulbs, though it won't dim with standard non dimmable ones. The drop is adjustable, from around 60cm up to 192cm, which gives some flexibility for higher ceilings or for hanging it lower over a table. As with any mains wired ceiling light, installation should be carried out by a registered NICEIC electrician. The fitting weighs close to 2.8kg, so it's worth checking that your ceiling fixing point can comfortably take that weight before installing.
