The Finesse 7 Light Cascade is a cluster style ceiling pendant, gathering seven arms around a single central ceiling plate so that one fitting can do the job of several pendants at once. It's built from steel and glass, with each arm finished in bright nickel and topped with a clear ribbed glass shade, making it a good choice if you want a ceiling light with a bit more presence than a standard single pendant.

The metalwork is finished in bright nickel, a cool, reflective tone that pairs easily with contemporary or transitional schemes and works well alongside chrome or nickel handles, taps and furniture elsewhere in the room. Each of the seven shades is clear ribbed glass, so the fittings inside are only softly obscured rather than fully hidden. As with any ribbed glass shade, expect a little natural variation in the texture from shade to shade rather than perfect uniformity.

How this multi arm pendant light works

Each of the seven arms takes a 10W LED bulb with an E27 fitting; bulbs are not supplied, so you'll need to add your own. The fitting is wired to Class I electrical standards and can be dimmed, provided dimmable bulbs are fitted. The drop is adjustable from 191cm to 231cm, so it can be set to suit different ceiling heights, and the ceiling plate itself measures 48cm in diameter by 3cm deep, with the whole fitting spanning around 48cm across. As with any mains wired ceiling light, installation should be carried out by a registered NICEIC electrician.
