Bright Nickel and Ribbed Glass

The frame, ceiling rose and drop rods are finished in bright nickel, a cool, reflective tone that works well against most wall colours and other metal fittings in a room. Each of the three glass shades has a fine ribbed texture, which catches the light differently depending on where you're standing and softens the glow from the bulb inside. The steel and glass combination gives the whole piece a bit of weight and presence without looking heavy.

How It Works

This pendant cluster takes three E27 bulbs, each rated up to 10W LED; bulbs are not supplied, so you'll want to pick some up separately. It's dimmable, but only if you fit dimmable bulbs and pair the fitting with a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting is wired to Class I, meaning it requires an earth connection, and as with any hardwired ceiling light, it's worth having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician rather than tackling the wiring yourself. The drop rods allow the overall height to be adjusted between roughly 114cm and 134cm, so you can set the pendants at a height that suits your ceiling and the space beneath them, and the three shades span around 34.6cm across as a cluster.

Where It Works Best

With an IP20 rating, this is a fitting for dry, indoor rooms rather than bathrooms or anywhere with direct moisture exposure. It suits hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and dining rooms particularly well, anywhere you want a central pendant that has a bit more going on than a single shade, whether that's over a dining table, in a stairwell, or as a main light in a bedroom or living space.
