The Utopia Drip 6 Light Linear Chandelier is built around a slender horizontal frame carrying six lights in a single row, each one finished with a glass shade that gives the piece its name. It reads as a proper centrepiece rather than a background fitting, and its long, linear shape makes it a natural fit for tables, islands and other rectangular spaces where a single round pendant wouldn't quite work.
Aged gold paint and champagne lustre glass
This version pairs a warm aged gold paint finish on the steel frame with champagne lustre glass shades. The paint is applied by hand, so expect gentle variation in tone across the piece rather than a perfectly uniform surface, while the lustre glass carries a soft champagne tint that catches the light rather than throwing a hard glare. Together they sit on the understated side of decorative, and pair easily with brass, warm wood or other muted metallic tones already in the room.
How this chandelier works
Six E14 candle bulbs power the fitting, each rated at 6W; bulbs are not supplied, so you'll need to choose your own to suit the brightness and look you're after. If you'd like to dim it, pick dimmable bulbs, as dimming here depends on the bulb rather than being built into the fixture. It's wired to Class II electrical standards. Because this is a mains wired fitting, we'd recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician rather than as a DIY job, and since it weighs a little over 9kg, it's worth checking that your ceiling fixing point can comfortably take the weight before you fit it.
Where it works best
The linear layout and spread of six lights suit dining tables, kitchen islands and other long runs where you want even light along a line rather than a single pool of it. It also works well in living rooms, bedrooms and hallways with the right proportions, wherever a ceiling light needs to provide both ambience and genuine illumination.
