The Bow pendant gathers nine lights beneath a single ceiling plate, finished in warm brass with a cluster of crystal and clear glass drops falling below. It has real presence over a table or in a stairwell, with plenty of sparkle without feeling fussy.
This warm brass, crystal and glass finish
This version pairs a warm brass plate with clear glass and crystal drops, so the metalwork gives off a soft glow while the glass and crystal catch and scatter the light. The frame itself is steel, with the crystal and glass elements adding the sparkle. As with any fitting built around cut glass and crystal, expect small, natural variation in how the drops sit piece to piece, that's simply part of a handworked finish rather than a flaw.
How this pendant works
Each of the nine arms takes a 6W E14 candle bulb, and bulbs are not supplied, so you can pick the brightness and tone that suits the room. It's dimmable provided dimmable bulbs are fitted, and it's rated Class II electrically. The drop is adjustable from around 49cm up to 186.5cm, with an overall diameter of about 61cm, which gives some flexibility for higher or more standard ceilings, and the ceiling rose measures roughly 150mm across and 25mm deep. At around 10.3kg, it's worth checking that your ceiling fixing point can comfortably take the weight before you hang it, and because this is a mains wired fitting, we'd recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
Where it works best
With an IP20 rating, this pendant is intended for dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms or anywhere splashes are likely. It suits living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, bedrooms and hallways, particularly spaces where you want a real focal point overhead, above a dining table, in an entrance hall, or as the centrepiece of a living room with a bit of ceiling height to play with.
