Utopia Atomic 2 Light Wall Light - Brushed Aged Brass & Twisted Clear Glass

There's something cheerfully retro about the Atomic 2 Light Wall Light. Two slim arms splay outwards at an angle from a central backplate, each one finished in brushed aged brass and topped with a twisted clear glass shade, so the fitting reads as much like a small sculpture as it does a light source. It's the kind of piece that adds personality to a wall without shouting for attention.

The metal arms are given a brushed aged brass finish, so expect gentle variation in tone from one piece to the next rather than a flat, uniform surface. Paired with the twisted clear glass shades, the effect is warm rather than cold, and works comfortably alongside timber furniture, brass hardware, or darker painted walls where the metal can catch the light.

How this wall light works

Each arm takes an LED G9 bulb, two in total, and bulbs are not supplied so you can choose the warmth and brightness that suits the room. It's dimmable, provided you fit dimmable bulbs and pair the fitting with a compatible dimmer switch. As with any mains wired fitting, we'd recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician rather than tackling the wiring yourself.

Where it works best

Its scale and glow suit living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways, anywhere you want a warm accent of light rather than a main source. Either side of a bed, flanking a mirror, or spaced along a hallway are all natural spots for a pair.
