Troy Brandon 1 Light A Wall Sconce Light - Textured Black

The Brandon is a single-arm wall sconce built around one clean, curved steel shade. It's designed to read as a piece of wall sculpture even when it's switched off, with no visible fixings or ornamentation.

Textured black finish

In textured black, the surface has a matte, slightly grained finish that absorbs light rather than reflecting it, so the sconce sits quietly on the wall instead of catching glare. It suits warm timber, exposed brick, or matte black ironmongery, and works against both pale and dark walls.

How it works

Fitted for a single E27 bulb (40W max, not supplied), the open fronted shade casts a soft, forward facing wash rather than a hard down or uplight. It's IP20 rated, so it's built for dry, indoor rooms only. It's not suitable for bathrooms or anywhere exposed to damp.

Where it works best

Because it throws light forward rather than up or down, it works well either side of a bed or mirror, along a hallway, or flanking a fireplace where you want ambient fill rather than task light.
