The Tooy Thula 20W Pendant Light is designed by Federica Biasi and stretches the Thula idea into a long, calm line of light with a wood or leather accent. It is a large pendant: it measures approximately 104cm long, 25cm deep and 11cm high, before the cable is added. That makes it a natural linear pendant for a dining table or kitchen island.

Twelve Finish Combinations

Choose a frame in Beige, Satin Nickel or Sand Black, then a Canaletto Walnut, White Oak or Beige Leather element. At this length the choice of accent is noticeable. Walnut gives a strong, dark line across a pale ceiling, White Oak keeps things airy, and Beige Leather gives a quieter, softer feel. Sand Black frames look sharpest over a light table top.

How it works

A 20W LED is built into the fitting at 2700K, giving around 2600 lumens of warm white light. It is dimmable with a phase cut dimmer, the driver is on board and there are no bulbs to buy. It hangs from a 150cm black cable, with a ceiling canopy included. A qualified electrician should always install this fitting.

Where it works best

Centre it over a dining table, a kitchen island or a console in a wide hallway. A pendant of this length also suits an open plan living area. We do not have an IP rating for this model, so we recommend it for dry indoor rooms and ask you to contact us if you are thinking of a damp space.

The story behind Tooy

Tooy is an Italian lighting brand founded in 2015 by Valeria Giacomozzi and Valerio Tidei in the Marche region. It grew out of Gibas, the Giacomozzi family company that has made tailor made lighting in Marche since 1959. Corrado Dotti has led its creative direction since 2017, and Tooy's lamps are made in Italy.
