A Small Fabric Table Lamp for Side Tables

The Tooy Lilly side table lamp is designed by Corrado Dotti. It is a small, soft table lamp about 22cm across and 28cm high, made to sit on a side table, shelf or bedside chest. The beige fabric and black net shade gives off a gentle, low glow, so it works as a quiet accent light more than a reading lamp.

Fabric, Net and Sand Black

The lamp comes in one finish. A Sand Black powder coated metal frame carries a beige fabric shade with a black net over it. The two textures together keep it looking light and tidy, even in a room with a lot going on.

How it works

The lamp takes one E14 bulb of up to 10W, which is not supplied. It has a 150cm fabric cable with an on and off switch on the cable, about 50cm from the base. For a dimmable result, use a dimmable bulb and ask us about your options. A qualified electrician should always install this fitting.

Where it works best

Place it on a bedside table, a window sill, a bookshelf or beside a sofa. It is a small accent lamp for a bedroom, snug or hallway. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.

The story behind Tooy

Tooy was started in 2015 by Valeria Giacomozzi and Valerio Tidei in Italy's Marche region. It grew out of Gibas, the Giacomozzi family lighting company that has made tailor made lighting in Marche since 1959. Corrado Dotti, who trained with Matteo Thun and then Armani Casa before opening his own studio in 2009, has been the brand's creative director since 2017. Tooy lamps are made in Italy.
