A Low, Wide Glass Table Lamp
The Tooy Legier 26cm table lamp is designed by Corrado Dotti and inspired by the rounded glass vessels of Murano. Where its sibling stands tall, this one sits low and wide, about 35cm across and 26cm high. That squat shape gives it a steady, grounded look and a generous glow, which makes it a natural glass table lamp for a sideboard, a deep shelf or a wide console.
Four Ways to Finish It
The base is Sand Black powder coated metal in every case. Choose Opal White glass for a soft, bright globe, or Smoke glass for a darker, amber toned one that glows warmly in the evening. A Light Grey ring keeps things understated, while a Brushed Brass ring gives a little more character.
How it works
The light source is an integrated LED at 2700K, giving around 1375 lumens of warm white light, so no bulbs are needed. The lamp comes with a 150cm fabric cable. A qualified electrician should always install this fitting.
Where it works best
The wide, low profile suits a sideboard, a window ledge, a wide hallway console or a generous bedside chest. It sits well under a wall mirror or beside a sofa. It is rated IP40, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.
The story behind Tooy
Valeria Giacomozzi and Valerio Tidei founded Tooy in 2015 in Italy's Marche region. The brand began as a spin off from Gibas, the Giacomozzi family lighting company that has made tailor made lighting in Marche since 1959. Corrado Dotti, who trained with Matteo Thun and then Armani Casa before opening his own studio in 2009, has been its creative director since 2017. The lamps are made in Italy.
