TOOY Legier Flush Fitting Ceiling Light - 35cm Wide

A Wide, Low Glass Ceiling Light

The Tooy Legier 26cm flush ceiling light is designed by Corrado Dotti and is the wider, lower of the two Legier ceiling lights. It is about 35cm across and 26cm high, so the glass globe spreads out rather than dropping down. If you want a glass ceiling light for a bedroom, hallway or landing, this is a calm, rounded option with a generous glow.

Finishes for the Globe and Ring

The metalwork is Sand Black powder coated. Opal White glass gives a clean, milky light, while Smoke glass looks darker and more dramatic when it is off, and warm when it is on. A Light Grey ring gives a restrained look, and a Brushed Brass ring adds warmth around the glass.

How it works

The LED is built in, so there are no bulbs to change. It produces around 1375 lumens of warm white light at 2700K and is dimmable on a phase cut dimmer. The fitting fixes to the ceiling. A qualified electrician should always install this fitting.

Where it works best

Choose it for a bedroom, a hallway, a landing or a living room with a modest ceiling height, where you want a soft central light. It is rated IP40, so it is for dry indoor rooms only and is not suitable for a bathroom.

The story behind Tooy

Tooy was founded in 2015 by Valeria Giacomozzi and Valerio Tidei in Italy's Marche region, as a spin off from Gibas.
