A Mid Size Round Pendant, 50cm Across
The Tooy Bolina Single Pendant Light 50cm is designed by Fabio Fantolino and takes its shape from sailing, with a round glass body and a leather band like a life preserver. It is approximately 50cm across and 15cm high, a shallow pendant that gives a generous, even glow. It works as a single statement over a table, or in a row over a long kitchen island.
Two Tonal Finishes
The dark bronze frame is common to both. In Caramel with Amber glass, the leather band and warm glass together give a rich, honeyed tone. In Light Beige with Satin White glass, the look is softer and lighter, with a diffused glow that feels airy. Choose the one that suits your table, walls and wood tones.
How it works
This is a built in 28.5W LED at 3000K, giving about 5850 lumens, with no bulbs to buy. It is dimmable with DALI 2 and Push controls. A stem kit sets the hanging length on site at 30, 60 or 90cm. A qualified electrician should always install this fitting.
Where it works best
Use one above a dining table or a bedside, or several in a line over a breakfast bar or island. The low profile suits ceilings that are not very high. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.
The story behind Tooy
Tooy began in 2015, founded by Valeria Giacomozzi and Valerio Tidei in Italy's Marche region. It grew out of Gibas, the Giacomozzi family lighting company that has made tailor made lighting in Marche since 1959. Corrado Dotti has been creative director since 2017, and the brand's lamps are made in Italy.
