TOOY Bolina Rectangular Semi-Flush Ceiling Light

A Rectangular Semi Flush Light, 75cm Long

The Tooy Bolina Rectangular Semi Flush Ceiling Light is designed by Fabio Fantolino and gives the Bolina glass and leather look an elongated shape. It measures approximately 75cm long, 35cm wide and 25cm high, so it suits a long dining table, a kitchen island or a wide hallway as a semi flush ceiling light that does not hang low.

Caramel and Amber, or Beige and Satin White

The frame is dark bronze for both finishes. Caramel nabuk leather with amber glass gives a warm, golden light and a richer look by day. Light Beige nabuk leather with satin white glass is lighter, with a calm, milky glow. The long form shows off the leather detailing more than the round versions do.

How it works

The light is a built in 38W LED at 3000K, giving about 7800 lumens, so no bulbs are needed. It is dimmable with DALI 2 and Push controls. It is fixed to the ceiling with a short drop, which makes it a good choice where headroom is limited. A qualified electrician should always install this fitting.

Where it works best

Place it centrally over a dining table, a long island or a corridor, where a single long shape works better than a round one. The light spreads wide and evenly. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.

The story behind Tooy

Italian lighting brand Tooy was founded in 2015 by Valeria Giacomozzi and Valerio Tidei in the Marche region.
