How It Works

Five E14 lamp holders sit openly across the wider frame, each rated up to 20W, with bulbs sold separately. The fitting is dimmable provided you fit dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Wiring is to Class II standards, so an earth connection isn't required. It carries an IP44 rating, which protects the electrical parts from splashing water in any direction.

With five lamp holders spread across a 39cm frame, this suits rooms where you want broader, more even coverage than a smaller fitting can manage, including bedrooms, hallways and landings, as well as living rooms and dining areas. Part of the Sycamore range, this is the wider five light version of the open frame design, built without any glass shades at all. Five holders are spaced evenly around the frame, so the light spreads generously rather than clustering in one spot, and because there's nothing covering the bulbs, cleaning and changing them is simple. The brass tone works with most bulb finishes, from clear to frosted to tinted.
