A Softly Speckled Shade in Warm Brass
The glass on this Sycamore pendant carries a fine speckled texture that diffuses light rather than letting it shine straight through, set against brass, white and satin black metalwork for a warm, grounded look. At 15cm across, the shade is small enough to hang in a cluster over a table or on its own in a hallway.
Choosing Your Finish
Brass gives this pendant its main character, a warm tone that suits kitchens and dining rooms with existing timber or warm hardware. The white and black details stop the finish from feeling too heavy, adding contrast without competing with the brass. This isn't the only finish available on the Sycamore shape, other metal combinations exist across the range if brass doesn't suit your space.
How It Works
A single E14 lamp holder takes one candle bulb, up to 20W, which is not included. The fitting is Class II rated, so no earth connection is needed during installation. Fit dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer and the pendant will dim smoothly. Its IP44 rating protects it against water splashed from any angle, which matters if it's going anywhere near a sink or shower.
Where It Works Best
The IP44 rating makes it suitable for bathroom zones 1 and 2, so it can sit beside a mirror or above a vanity unit. Design Details
This piece belongs to the Sycamore range, where an iron frame carries a glass shade finished in one of several textures. Here the glass has a fine speckle running through it, as though tiny bubbles were caught in the material as it formed, and that texture is what gives the light its soft, diffused quality rather than a single bright point.
