The melting glass effect on this Sycamore shade makes each one look slightly different, with the clear glass appearing to have softened and pooled around the round form before it was set. It is sized for an E14 bulb and gives a fitting a more organic, artisan feel compared to a standard smooth shade. Light passes through unevenly thanks to the texture, creating a nice bit of shadow play on nearby walls and ceilings.
Being bathroom rated, this shade is fine to use in zones 1 and 2, and it is equally suited to bedrooms, hallways and living rooms wherever you want a talking point shade rather than something plain.
