Can I put this in my bathroom?
Yes. The IP44 rating covers bathroom zones 1 and 2, so you can install it either side of a mirror or above a sink as long as it isn't directly inside the shower.

Won't all the light escape?
The ribbed texture does diffuse light slightly, and clear glass inherently lets more light through than frosted or coloured shades. If you want maximum brightness, this is the right choice.

Is the ribbing textured or smooth?
