Stone Globe Spherical Garden Light - Weathered Stone - Plug & Play

A Stone Effect Garden Globe Light for a Plug and Play Run

The Stone Globe Spherical Garden Light in Weathered Stone is a stone effect outdoor light made from polyethylene, built for the 12V plug and play system. It comes in three sizes, 28cm, 38cm and 50cm diameter, so you can use it as a garden globe light on a path, a driveway or a border. The 50cm globe is a large fitting, so please check the size against your space before ordering.

Weathered Stone Finish

This version has the Weathered Stone finish. The surface is deliberately rough, and the manufacturer says it weathers naturally over time. By day it sits in a garden like a rounded stone. At night the globe lights up from inside. Each globe comes with a mounting bracket, and an optional ground spike is available.

How It Works

This globe runs on the 12V plug and play system, so it needs a Stone Globe approved transformer, which is sold separately. An E27 bulb is supplied: 3W for the 28cm globe, 5W for the 38cm and 7W for the 50cm. You can choose the standard 0.45m output cable or a 5m cable. For a larger garden, the manufacturer suggests adding a cable pack of 10m, 25m or 50m, plus the number of connectors you need. The globe is rated IP65 and has a 12.5cm circular mounting base bracket. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting.

Where It Works Best

These globes suit paths, driveways, borders and patios, and they are good for creating a warm glow on alfresco evenings. Because they are part of a plug and play system, they can be moved and rearranged more easily than a fixed fitting. They also work well in a plug and play garden lighting run alongside other Stone Globe lights.
