Stone Globe Spherical Garden Light - Sandstone - Solar

A Solar Powered Stone Effect Garden Globe

The Stone Globe Spherical Garden Light in Sandstone is a solar powered garden globe light with an integrated LED. It comes in three sizes, 28cm, 38cm and 50cm diameter, and is made from polyethylene with a rough, stone effect surface. A small separate solar panel charges the light, so there is no mains wiring to run. It suits a path, driveway, border or patio.

Sandstone Finish, Solar Version

This is the Sandstone finish, a warm sandy stone colour with a rough, textured surface. The surface is designed to weather naturally, and by day the globe looks like a stone ornament among your planting. At night it glows from within. The solar version is the one to choose where running a cable back to the house is not practical, and it is a separate product from the mains, low voltage and plug and play versions.

How It Works

A small solar panel sits in a sunny spot close to the globe and is joined to it by a cable. The light is an integrated LED. The globe is rated IP65 and made from polyethylene, and it comes with a mounting bracket for secure attachment. An optional ground spike is available. Because the light is portable, it can be moved around the garden as you like. The manufacturer gives a 10 year guarantee on the globe and 2 years on the solar panel.

Where It Works Best

Use it along a path, beside a driveway, in a border or on a patio, and to set a warm mood for evenings outdoors. The 28cm and 38cm sizes sit well in smaller beds and on terraces, and the 50cm globe makes a bolder statement in a larger space.
