A Portland Stone Effect Globe Light for Paths and Driveways

This Stone Globe spherical garden light has a Portland stone finish and runs on the 12V plug and play system. It comes in three sizes, 28cm, 38cm and 50cm diameter, with an E27 bulb supplied. The outer shell is moulded polyethylene with a rough stone effect surface and is rated IP65, so it works as a garden globe light beside a path, on a driveway or among borders. The 50cm globe is a large fitting, so please check the measurements against your space before ordering.

Portland Stone Finish

The surface is a rough, natural looking stone effect in a pale neutral tone, chosen to sit well among planting and gravel. The manufacturer says the rough surface weathers naturally over time. By day it works as a stone effect outdoor light that looks like a garden ornament, and at night the globe glows from within.

How It Works

This is a 12V plug and play garden lighting product, so it needs a transformer, which is bought separately. The bulb is included: 3W E27 in the 28cm size, 5W E27 in the 38cm and 7W E27 in the 50cm. A circular mounting base bracket (12.5cm) fixes the globe in place, and an optional ground spike is available if you want to push it into soil. Cable length options are 0.45m as standard or 5m. For larger gardens, the manufacturer suggests adding a 10m, 25m or 50m cable pack and the right number of connectors. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting.
