Stone Globe Spherical Garden Light - Limestone - Solar

A Solar Stone Effect Globe Light for the Garden

The Stone Globe Solar Light in Limestone is a stone effect garden globe light that charges from a small separate solar panel, so there is no mains cable to run. It comes in three sizes, 28cm, 38cm and 50cm diameter, and the 50cm is a large fitting. The globe is moulded polyethylene with a rough, natural looking surface, and it makes a practical solar garden light for paths, driveways and borders.

Limestone Finish, Solar Powered

This version has a pale, light coloured limestone effect surface. The finish is rough and textured like cut stone, and in the photos it glows soft white when lit at night. It is the solar version of the range, so it is powered by a panel placed in the sun rather than by a mains supply or a low voltage transformer. The globe has an integrated LED.

How It Works

A small solar panel sits in a sunny spot close to the globe and connects to it by a cable. The panel charges the light during the day, and the globe lights at night. The panel comes on a ground spike. The globe has an integrated LED and comes with a mounting bracket, and an optional ground spike is available. It is rated IP65 and made from polyethylene. Because the light is solar powered, no electrical installation is needed.

Where It Works Best

The globes suit driveway and path lighting, borders, and patios, where they add a warm glow for alfresco evenings. They are portable, so you can move them around as the garden changes. By day the rough surface looks like stone, and by night it gives off a soft light.
