Stone Globe Spherical Garden Light - Limestone - Plug & Play

A Limestone Effect Garden Globe for Plug and Play Lighting

The Stone Globe Spherical Garden Light in Limestone is a stone effect outdoor light for the 12V plug and play system. It comes in three sizes, 28cm, 38cm and 50cm diameter, each with a bulb supplied. Use it as a garden globe light along a path, beside a driveway or in a planted border. Please check these measurements against your space before ordering, as the 50cm globe is a large fitting.

Limestone Finish with a Rough Surface

The globe is moulded polyethylene with a rough, textured surface in a pale limestone tone. The manufacturer says this surface weathers naturally, giving a stone look in the garden by day and a soft glow when lit at night. This is the plug and play version, with a short 0.45m standard output cable or a 5m cable, chosen as an option on the product.

How It Works

This is a low voltage 12V fitting and it needs a Stone Globe approved transformer, which is bought separately. The globe uses an E27 bulb that is supplied: 3W for the 28cm, 5W for the 38cm and 7W for the 50cm. It has a mounting bracket for fixing it in place, with a 12.5cm circular mounting base, and an optional spike is available. The plug and play system lets you move a globe to a new position later. For bigger gardens, the manufacturer suggests adding a 10m, 25m or 50m cable pack, with the connectors you need. The globe is rated IP65 for outdoor use. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting.

Where It Works Best

These globes suit driveway and path lighting, garden borders and patios, and they help create a warm setting for alfresco evenings. They also look good by day, so they add interest to the garden even when switched off.
