Stone Globe Spherical Garden Light - Bath Stone - Solar

A Solar Stone Effect Garden Globe with No Wiring

The Stone Globe Spherical Garden Light in Bath Stone is a solar powered garden globe light with a rough, stone effect surface. It is moulded from polyethylene and rated IP65. It comes in three sizes, 28cm, 38cm and 50cm diameter, and a small separate solar panel powers it, so there is no mains cable to run to the garden. It suits a path, border, patio or driveway edge as a stone effect outdoor light that looks good by day and glows at night.

Bath Stone Finish, Solar Version

This listing is the Bath Stone finish with the solar power option. The surface is rough and uneven like cut stone, and it weathers naturally outdoors. The globe is lit from inside by an integrated LED, and the panel connects to it with a cable. Stone Globe also makes mains, low voltage and plug and play versions, but this one needs no electrical supply at all.

How It Works

The small solar panel charges in daylight and the globe lights after dark. Place the panel somewhere sunny, within reach of its cable from the globe. The globe has a mounting bracket for secure attachment, and an optional ground spike is available. The panel sits on its own spike, so it can be moved if you change the planting. The globe is polyethylene and IP65 rated, so it is protected against dust and water jets. The solar version is a self contained system, so no electrician is needed to fit it.

Where It Works Best

Stone Globe suggests these lights for driveway and path lighting, and for creating a warm mood for alfresco evenings. A globe in a planted border or beside a patio works as a garden globe light that is easy to move later, as the fitting is portable.
