The Mr Magoo idea, brought to floor level

The Mr Magoo Floor Lamp is a freestanding light with a white polyethylene diffuser held within a white painted metal frame at the end of an angled arm, standing close to two metres tall on a matching 520mm base.

White finish

It brings the same design thinking as the rest of the Mr Magoo collection down to floor level, a family by Mirco Crosatto, shaped through rotational moulding, that won a Red Dot Award in 2015.

How it works

TopLED diodes cast light across the full 360 degrees of the diffuser in a warm or natural tone. Dimming is via push control, adjusted by hand at the fitting itself.

Where it works best

Its scale and sculptural silhouette make it a natural fit for a living room reading corner, a bedroom, a dining area or a hallway that would benefit from floor level light.

The story behind Stilnovo

Stilnovo was founded in Milan in 1946 by Bruno Gatta, and this floor standing take on Mr Magoo shows the design working as furniture as much as light.
