Stilnovo Minitopo Table Lamp - Chrome & Green

Set against a chrome body, the green shade on this Stilnovo Minitopo Table Lamp gives Joe Colombo's Italian design a fresher, more contemporary edge, and it comes fitted for a 7W E27 LED bulb, supplied in the box.

Look at the shade from the side and you'll see the slits that run along it, styled after the cooling vents on 1960s sports cars, a detail that gives even a stationary lamp a sense of motion. The shade's rounded profile was drawn deliberately around the shape of the E27 bulb it holds, not unlike an engine sitting snugly in its casing, and together with two small ears at the top it's easy to see how the design earned its nickname, minitopo, Italian for little mouse. Its tail, so to speak, is the handle on the reflector, which tilts the light with a light touch of the hand.

Constructed from sturdy metal with a precise, well-finished feel, it's built for a desk or worktop and suits an office or study far better than a bedroom setting. This colourway is made to order, which means it can't be returned once it's been placed, so do check it will suit your space in advance.
