Stilnovo Minitopo Table Lamp - Chrome & Flame Red

The Stilnovo Minitopo Table Lamp in Chrome & Flame Red is a metal table lamp designed by Joe Colombo, combining a polished chrome body with a bold flame red shade, and taking a 7W E27 LED bulb that's supplied as standard.

Colombo took his cue from the sleek air vents of 1960s sports cars when he cut the slits along the shade, and the effect still reads as pure motion today. Look closer and the shade itself echoes the shape of the bulb inside it, like a small engine housed in its own casing, which is exactly how this lamp earned its name: minitopo, or little mouse. The handle on the reflector is the mouse's tail in miniature, and it's a genuinely useful one, letting you tilt the light exactly where you need it.

Built from quality metal with a considered, engineered feel, it earns its keep on a desk or console table in a home office or study, throwing a confident pool of light without taking up much room. As each lamp is made to order in this colourway, it can't be returned once purchased, so it's worth taking a moment to picture it in place before ordering.
