Stilnovo Minitopo Table Lamp - Chrome

Cast in a cool chrome and nickel finish, the Stilnovo Minitopo Table Lamp is a metal table lamp designed by Joe Colombo and fitted for a 7W E27 LED bulb, which is included.

The all-metal finish suits this design particularly well, catching the light along the slitted vents that circle the shade, a styling cue Colombo lifted from the vents of 1960s sports cars to suggest speed even while the lamp stands still. It's a shape with a sense of humour, too, since the rounded shade wraps around its bulb much like an engine under a bonnet, and the overall silhouette looks distinctly like a small mouse, or topo, ears and all. The little handle on the reflector acts as its tail, and turning it lets you angle the beam with real precision.

Solidly made with a satisfying weight to it, this lamp is at home on a desk or worktable in an office or study rather than tucked away as a bedside piece. It's produced to order in this finish, so it isn't available to return once purchased, and we'd suggest confirming your space against the dimensions beforehand.
