Stilnovo Minibox Wall Light - White

The Stilnovo Minibox Wall Light in White is a wall mounted lamp from Stilnovo's Minibox collection, designed by Gae Aulenti and Piero Castiglioni, with a metal head that attaches magnetically and can be angled by hand.

White keeps the fixture understated against most wall colours, letting the design itself, that small glowing eye set into a neat metal body, do the talking. It's a shape with real history behind it, echoing the look of an old miner's lamp, and Stilnovo's craftsmanship shows in details like the handle and the smooth, glossy paint finish.

Made from metal with a PMMA lens over the 10W integrated PowerLED, it operates on phase cut dimming, so it should be connected to a compatible dimmer switch rather than a plain lighting circuit. Fixed beside a bed or an armchair it makes a genuinely useful reading light, and it works just as naturally in a hallway, home office or dining room where a directional wall light earns its keep.
