The Minibox Wall Light in Green is the wall mounted edition of Gae Aulenti and Piero Castiglioni's Stilnovo design, a compact metal fixture with a magnetically attached head that can be repositioned by hand.

Green suits anyone who wants their wall lights to do more than blend in. The shape still nods to a miner's lamp, with its small illuminated lens set into a rounded metal body and a handle detail that gives it a tactile, well made quality.

How it works

It carries a 10W integrated PowerLED and uses phase cut dimming, which calls for a compatible dimmer on the circuit it's wired into.

Where it works best

Mounted beside a bed, a sofa or a desk, the adjustable head throws light exactly where reading or working demands it, and it works just as well as an accent piece in a hallway or dining room.

Stilnovo was founded in Milan in 1946 by Bruno Gatta, and this bolder colourway shows how far Gae Aulenti and Piero Castiglioni's original Minibox design can flex.
