The Minibox Table Lamp in Iconic Red is a metal bodied lamp with an integrated 10W PowerLED, designed by Gae Aulenti and Piero Castiglioni, built around a magnetic head that lifts away and reattaches wherever you choose to aim it.

Iconic red finish

That glowing lens set into a compact metal housing borrows its character from an old miner's lamp. In a glossy red finish, it reads less like a task light and more like a small sculpture that happens to be extremely useful.

How it works

Push button dimming is built into the base, so brightness is adjusted at the lamp itself, and it plugs in via a 2 metre cable. The swivelling head shifts between focused reading light and softer ambient glow depending on how it's angled.

It suits a study or office desk, a bedside table, or a console in the living room or dining room equally well.

The story behind Stilnovo

Stilnovo was founded in Milan in 1946 by Bruno Gatta, and Minibox, designed later by Gae Aulenti and Piero Castiglioni, became one of the brand's most recognisable pieces.
