Stilnovo Minibox Table Lamp - Coffee

The Stilnovo Minibox Table Lamp in Coffee is a metal table lamp from Stilnovo, designed by Gae Aulenti and Piero Castiglioni, with a magnetically attached head that lifts free and can be aimed in any direction.

The coffee finish is the warmest tone in the range, a deep bronzed brown that gives the lamp a more grounded, tactile feel than its brighter siblings. It hasn't lost any of the character that made the original famous though: the glowing lens set into the metal body still calls to mind a miner's lamp, and the sculpted handle makes it as satisfying to hold as it is to look at.

Made from metal and PMMA and fitted with a 10W integrated PowerLED, it dims via a push button built into the base and plugs in on a 2 metre cable, so there's no wiring to think about. It sits comfortably on a desk, a bedside table, or a sideboard in a living or dining room, and its ability to redirect light makes it useful wherever a bit of focused illumination helps, from an office to a quiet reading corner.
