Stilnovo Meta Table Lamp - Iconic Red

The Stilnovo Meta table lamp in iconic red is an Italian designed lamp made from iron and glass, taking a single 20W E27 LED bulb and featuring push dimming.

Meta was first drawn up in the 1970s, and the design has lost none of its confidence since: a slender stem and a rounded glass shade, reduced to so few lines it looks almost sketched rather than manufactured. Red brings out that boldness rather than hiding it, turning what is essentially a minimalist form into a genuine statement piece.

Behind it sits Stilnovo, a Milan house founded in 1946 by Bruno Gatta and counted among the defining names of Italian Modernist lighting, working to the belief that a lamp deserved the same care as a piece of architecture. Acquired and revived in 2019 by Linea Light Group after decades away from production, Stilnovo now builds pieces such as Meta with modern LED engineering while holding onto that original philosophy, and the result sits comfortably alongside the build quality of Flos and Oluce.

It works equally well in a living room, bedroom, dining room, hallway or office, wherever a splash of colour and considered design are welcome.
