The Meta table lamp in glossy black is an Italian designed table light with an iron and glass construction, taking a single 20W E27 LED bulb with push dimming built into the base.

Glossy black finish

Meta first appeared in the 1970s, and this reissue keeps every essential line intact: a slender stem, a rounded glass diffuser, and a base with just enough weight to feel grounded. In gloss black the silhouette almost disappears against a dark shelf or console, leaving only the glowing form itself.

How it works

Push dimming is built into the base, so brightness can be adjusted directly at the lamp. A single 20W E27 LED bulb powers it.

The story behind Stilnovo

Stilnovo has been shaping Italian lighting since Bruno Gatta founded the house in Milan in 1946, in the optimistic years of the country's post war rebuilding, working from the belief that a lamp should be engineered and considered as carefully as any piece of architecture.
