Stilnovo Megafono 2 Arm Wall Light - Gold & Black

The Stilnovo Megafono 2 Arm Wall Light in Gold and Black is a wall fitting with two swivelling glossy black cone shades on a shared brass backplate finished in gold.

Two independently rotating shades mean this version of the Megafono can do two jobs at once, one cone angled for background light, the other turned outward for something more useful when you actually need to see. It's a small but telling example of how well the original 1950s design was thought through, and the glossy black finish gives it a slightly bolder character than the ivory alternative.

Constructed from brass and metal, it holds up well in a living room, a kitchen, a bedroom, along a hallway or either side of a dining room feature, and four E14 LED bulbs are supplied to run both arms. There's no dimming function on this fitting, though the swivel shades give you plenty of ways to change how the light falls without one.

Since each wall light is made to order and not held ready made, we can't take it back once your order has been fulfilled, so it's worth checking the finish suits your scheme first. We'd recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
