A sharper edge on a 1950s shape

The Megafono 1 Arm Wall Light in Gold and Black is a single arm wall fitting with one swivelling glossy black cone shade on a brass backplate finished in gold.

Gold and black finish

The black shade gives this version a slightly more graphic look than the ivory original, though the mechanics are unchanged, the cone rotates on its brass joint so you can point it up or out as needed.

How it works

Two E14 LED bulbs are supplied, though dimming isn't supported on this fitting.

Where it works best

It works well in a hallway, a kitchen, a bedroom, or as one of a pair either side of a dining room mirror.

The story behind Stilnovo

Stilnovo's Megafono has barely dated since it was designed in the 1950s, a design confidence that traces back to the brand's founding in Milan in 1946 by Bruno Gatta.
