A cluster of glowing glass spheres for a grand space
The Galassia 12 Light Pendant is a large scale chandelier built for a generous ceiling void, its brass frame finished in galvanic gilding and hung with twelve white triplex blown glass spheres, each lit by a 6W E14 LED bulb supplied as standard. Measuring 1204mm across with a maximum drop of 1252mm, it's sized to fill a stairwell, a double height hallway or the space above a long dining table.
Gold and white glass
Galassia distils the exuberant optimism of 1950s Italian design, the twelve spheres reading as a single constellation of light rather than a repeated shape. The gold gilded brass frame gives real warmth against the crisp white glass.
How it works
Twelve 6W E14 LED bulbs are supplied as standard, giving an even, generous spread of light rather than a single focal glow. As with any fitting of this scale, we recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.
Where it works best
Suspended in a living room, kitchen or dining room it becomes the natural centrepiece; over a staircase or through a hallway it reads more like sculpture than light fitting. Do check your ceiling height and intended drop before ordering.
The story behind Stilnovo
Stilnovo was founded in Milan in 1946 by Bruno Gatta, helping define the golden age of Italian Modernist lighting. Since the brand's 2019 revival under Linea Light Group, historic designs like Galassia are reissued with real fidelity to their original form, updated with efficient LED sources.
