The Diphy L54 is a small pendant light, its 536mm laser micro engraved PMMA leaf hung on a cable that can drop as far as 2200mm from the ceiling.

It shares its transformative optic with the rest of the Diphy family designed by Mirco Crosatto: switch it off and the leaf shaped diffuser all but disappears, switch it on and OptiLight Technology sends a soft, even glow across both sides of the panel at once.

How it works

Its white painted aluminium housing takes an integrated TopLED source rated at 20W or 21W depending on the mounting chosen, with phase cut or DALI push dimming built in.

Where it works best

Being the smallest pendant in the collection, it suits a landing, a compact dining corner, above a run of stairs, or as a pair flanking a sofa.

The story behind Stilnovo

Stilnovo was founded in Milan in 1946 by Bruno Gatta, and this smaller Diphy piece shows the design working just as well at a modest scale.
